THE OG VEHICLE
NIKE HAS ALWAYS PUSHED BOUNDARIES WITH “IF YOU HAVE A BODY, YOU’RE AN ATHLETE.” BUT TODAY WE FACE A STRANGE CONTRADICTION: WE’VE STOPPED USING OUR BODIES TO GET FROM POINT A TO B.
Few places illustrate this better than Sweden — one of the world’s most dedicated gym nations, yet increasingly disconnected from everyday movement. We take e-scooters to the gym, walk on treadmills instead of outside, and choose the stairmaster over actual stairs. We pay to simulate movement, while avoiding the real thing.
So, as Nike Training relaunches, we relaunch the original mode of transportation: the human body.
THE OG VEHICLE borrows the visual language of classic car advertising to showcase the body’s natural performance. Athletes appear in classic layouts, with strength, endurance and mobility presented as key features. Across in-store and in the Nike Training app, users unlock “upgrade packages” that help them tune, fuel and build their OG Vehicle, transforming fitness into a personal performance journey. Because movement is freedom. And the most powerful vehicle you’ll ever own is already yours.
